Information & Referral (I&R)
ILRC staff use I&R, one of our most important services, as the gateway to provide information, knowledge, and resources in an efficient manner to people with disabilities. Staff listen to and assist individuals by locating resources and developing tactics for individuals to resolve barriers to access in their communities.
Get Support for Independent Living
The ILRC staff members are knowledgeable about the kinds of barriers people with disabilities face and listen to those in need. We have a number of resources and databases we can access to assist, locate, and recommend resources or services. ILRC can also help develop tactics for individuals, caregivers, and families to resolve these barriers and access information and services in their chosen communities.

Anyone may use our Information and Assistance program, including callers from outside the state of Kansas. There is no cost to use this service.
