Fundraisers and Events

Independent Living Resource Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and doesn’t receive funding from United Way. All services we provide are made possible through funding from state and federal sources, grants, fundraising events and private donations. ILRC holds a variety of fundraisers and events throughout the year to support our organization and its programs.

Christmas Cards

In 2006, local artist Hugh Greer began creating paintings for the Independent Living Resource Center’s annual Christmas Card fundraiser. Each year, a themed painting is specifically created for the fundraiser by Greer and all proceeds benefit ILRC.

Current and past Christmas Cards are available for purchase. Support local art for a great cause and get yours here!

Golf Tournament

Our annual Golf Tournament is one of our favorite and fun summertime fundraisers! We welcome players of all abilities and promise a great day of golf at one of the best courses in Kansas. Proceeds from our tournament and live auction benefit the Greater Expectations program supporting young adults with autism. We are always in need of volunteers.

Move It for Autism

Move It for Autism is an ongoing virtual fundraiser benefiting the Greater Expectations program. Participants can choose to donate and/or create an activity of their choice to participate in alone or by creating a team and inviting team members to donate and join the activity.

Team leaders can choose what, when and where the activity will occur and can host multiple events throughout the year. Whether it’s a car wash, bake sale, race of some sort or as simple as taking a walk, we invite you to get moving and “Move It” in your way for fun at Move It for Autism!
